Located at the top of Merthyr high street with easy parking nearby the building has been a significant part of Merthyr since the Victorian era. A short, scenic drive to the beautiful National Park of the Brecon Beacons.
Relax in the Tiger lounge and enjoy excellent coffee, speciality teas, alcoholic beverages and great food, most of which is sourced locally.
If one room is not enough we also have a holiday let available just outside of the town.
Set in an idyllic countryside far away from the "maddening crowds". The house has been extended at the back to provide a spacious, open ground floor so you can sit back and gaze at the stars through the glass atrium or throw open the bi-folding doors to welcome in the countryside.
Our Tiger Lounge is beautifully decorated with comfortable seating to enjoy and relax whether alone or in a group.
The Tiger Inn is a stone-throw away from some of the most amazing scenery within South Wales. Take a trip up Pen-y-Fan to watch the sunrise, or explore the beautiful forests, reservoirs and waterfalls near the Brecon Beacons National Park.
